Neo Classical Greek Terra-Cotta Urn

Description:

 

With lid that has a finial 12" high, 6" diameter.  Made by the Torquay Terra-Cotta Co. Ltd., Torquay, Devon.  Most likely made between 1875 when they started using a combined            mark and 1890 as no country of origin is found.  They continued to use the mark until 1909.  The urn has line drawings of Greek chairs.  There are two handles on the urn and there is white beading around the neck and the finial.  It is in excellent condition and is high quality.
