This borzoi (Russian wolfhound) figurine is faience porcelain. It is marked on the bottom "GP" and is numbered also.  The mark corresponds to Fr. Pfeffer from Gotha, Thuringia, East Germany who worked from 1892-1945.  This piece is believed to have been made around 1900.  My information came from the book Kovel's New Dictionary of Marks: Pottery & Porcelain, 1850 to the present by Ralph and Terry Kovel. Faience porcelain.

It measures:

• 5" high

This figurine is very high quality and is in excellent condition with NO cracks or defects.
