This round bowl measures 6-3/4" across and has Mark #168 on the
bottom, with a letter F and two stars. Ferd, Fuchs and Bros. started
making silver in Germany about 1835. They opened in Boston and moved
to New York in 1884. This piece is attributed to Pierre Joseph
Cheron, who designed some of their pieces prior to 1922.
